Good evening ladies! Last year, I shared my favorite pictures of Royal Ascot. This year is no exception. Read on to see some lovely dresses even more beautiful hats! As we all know that’s a huge part of Ascot, right?
First, let’s take a look at what the royal family wore!
From ‘Kermit the frog’ green at Trooping the Colour to a yellow ensemble at the first day of Royal Ascot this year. I thought it was a lovely choice, it suits her majesty’s skintone very well.
This type of jacket suits Queen Elisabeth. It has the perfect length in my opinion. Personally, I would have choose a bag in a different color or I would have chose to remove the blue flowers on her hat. Princess Beatrice’s outfit is one of my faves. Of course, because it’s a navy blue. Her skirt is my favorite.
Princess Mary from Denmark attended Royal Ascot as well. I love the spring colors that both of the ladies are wearing, don’t you?
I have no idea who this lady is, but I love her pink dress and matching fascinator! It suits her skintone perfectly and the pink lip is a lovely touch. It pulls the whole look together. Douze points!
William and Kate attended Royal Ascot as well. I’m not sure what to think of Kate’s ensemble. For some reason, the Dolce & Gabana dress and hat/fascinator are a bit of a mismatch for me. I think it’s because of the prints.
I really like the outfit of the lady on the left side. She would have really stand out because of the vibrant color. The hat reminds me a bit of Puss in Boots, if you now what I mean. Liz Hurley choose a white ensemble with some nude heels. Very pretty!
Queen Elisabeth choose a vibrant blue ensemble with an orange hat on the last day of Ascot. It matches the jacket that the rider is wearing (coincidence?).
This jacket caught my eye, as I love the gradient!
These two outfits I didn’t like so much. I think both princess Beatrice and Eugenie could have done better by opting for a more modern cut. I think it has to do with the length of the dress and skirt.
Oh how I would love to visit Royal Ascot! I’m saving up to go there next year. Which outfit did you love?
